I teach ninth grade Biology in Fairfax, Virginia. I am entering my sixth year of teaching, and I am excited about incorporating new technology into my lessons. I think that using technology in the classroom not only helps to motivate students but also teaches valuable skills that they will need throughout their lives. The sites posted here have been about both classroom technology and content-specific activities. Please follow along with my journey into technology at my blog:

I teach High School Social Studies in Delaware, Ohio. I will be entering my tenth year in education. I have utilized some of the new technology that has entered the realm of education, but know that I am not as tech savvy as I would like to be. I am excited about incorporating new ideas and technology into my daily lessons. My students will enjoy the use of new technology as they have grown up using these tools to learn and explore. I am also the head football coach at my school and have been using new age digital software to help prepare my student athletes for their opponents. This digital software allows me to breakdown offensive and defensive schemes, keep statistics and create profiles for College recruiters. I am excited about the technological advancements that we will utilize as I continue to teach into the future. You can follow my webblog: http://mikeloparo.edublogs.org/

I am an elementary Physical Education teacher in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This will be my fifth year teaching, however I have been around a Physical Educaiton teacher all my life. My mom taught physical education for thirty years, twenty of them in the same gym I teach in today. Hello and thank you for checking out Techs2B! We have created Techs2B to help educators learn to feel comfortable with technology. As a middle school mathematics teacher and mother of three I have seen how technology is growing and changing rapidly, it is imperitive that we as educators learn to keep up because the children certainly are. Hopefully you will be able to get some great ideas or share some of your own. Good luck and thank you for stooping by!

I am a Vocational Business teacher in Arkansas. This will be my tenth year in education. I am what is considered a non-traditional teacher, in the sense that I did not recieve a degree in Education, instead I have a degree in Business Administration. I am currently the FBLA sponsor, and cheer coach for both Varsity and Jr High. I teach grades 9-12, and courses that include: Desktop Publishing, Office Management, Multimedia, and Computer Business Applications. Most of my courses are articulated with the local community college, and therefore I am always looking to broaden my horizon in the field of technology in order to keep my students better prepared for the "after high school" life. I believe techs2B will be a wonderful avenue for ideas to be shared across curriculmns. Resources are key ingredients for survival in today's classroom, another resource that maybe helpful is my personal blog at

I have been teaching for three years as a third grade teacher in southern New Jersey. Although I have not been in the teaching profession long, I have quickly realized how important it is to incorporate technology into the classroom in order to create a motivational and stimulating learning environment for all students. As an elementary teacher, I strive for student enthusiasm, comprehension, and success. However, in a world of technology based learning, student success is limited if it is not motivated by today’s ever changing technological society. Therefore, techs2B will not only assist with the motiviatioin, enthusiasm, and success that I strive for in the classroom, it will also serve as a reliable resource for teaching professionals.
